Johannes Baasch (18 August 1905 – 10 August 1944) was a highly decorated Major der Reserve in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Johannes Baasch was killed 10 August 1944 and was posthumously promoted to Major der Reserve.
